Using Oliver or Orbit
All students have access either at home or at school to our school's library system 'Oliver'. This can be done from any device by logging onto the DEC student portal and choosing the "My School Library" application.

Students can use Oliver or Orbit the simpler colourful interactive search interface. It can easily be used by students.in a number of ways:
* search for a resource in the Woonona East PS library and other listed libraries like Wollongong Library
* look at their current loans and their loan history,
* check to see if a book is overdue,
* write book reviews and give books a rating out of 5,
* find links to other interesting sites
* create a personal interest list of topics they like, so books containing these topics will be identified easily for them
* search by "click and pick" using infographic tiles ( Orbit only) and
* personalise the screen by changing the background theme and their avatar (Orbit only).
