POSITIONS VACANT!
Are you an adult? Do you love books? Do you love reading? Do you love libraries? Well then, this is the position for you. Your school library needs you!
- JOB DESCRIPTION – Any or all of the following, it would be your choice from covering books, repairing books, helping with displays, shelving books and tidying, dusting and cleaning the shelves. Training will be provided.
- HOURS – Any time on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm would be best, however if this doesn't suit it may be possible to discuss times on a Monday or Friday. You can work as little as 30 minutes once a week or longer, or more frequently if you wish.
- PAY – A smile on a child's face when they find the book they are after quickly, because the shelves are in order and tidy. Or the excitement that is generated when that new book they are after is covered ready for them. Last but not least is the good karma, and the knowledge that you are helping your school.
- JOB HAZARDS – You may find a book or more to read for yourself.
