Reading for enjoyment is a focus, and to this end, the library is stocked with a variety of fiction and non-fiction.
All classes visit the library weekly for borrowing & teaching, and the library is open 2nd half lunch on some days for casual student use. Refer to BORROWING INFORMATION for details.
Borrowing rates of fiction & non-fiction books by our students is always high, which illustrates the need to ensure the collection continues to respond to student interests and learning needs. Titles are held to support the growth and development of a love of reading as well as the curriculum for both student and teacher use. Teaching resources are also held to support the NSW curriculum
The teacher librarian also encourages the students to suggest items to be purchased via either the Suggestion Box in the library or online WEPS Library Feedback and Suggestion Form
